Coity Castle

Make sure the castle is open before visiting due to repairs. Coity Castle is a Norman castle situated in the centre of Coity. You can park right outside the walls and there is easy access. Cross the moat bridge to gain access. The castle is also next to Coity church which is worth a look. There is much history in the area pre-dating Mediaeval times with discoveries of ancient settlements around the area.
